Waste Water Treatment

Synthetic Materials provides the required treatment of waste water from the Flue Gas Desulphurization System (FGD) to allow safe discharge back to the environment. Removed solids can then be disposed of in accordance with regulations.

SynMat’s largest waste water treatment facility discharges up to 220,000 gallons of treated water per day. This treated water exceeds Maryland’s strict Chesapeake Bay water shed regulations.
